VINTAGE VOGUE SENDING LOVE

Early this week Stampin Up release the retirement list...all the great products that will not be available in the new catalog being released in June.  Click here to see the list.  If you see something you want, don't delay, all products are only available while supplies last.  Remember you can shop online 24/7 from my site.

To pay homage to all the stamps that I have that will be retiring, I am going to make at least one new card with each of them and display them on my blog.

Now, for today's card!!  For a little inspiration, I turned to two of my favorite blogs Freshly Made Sketches and Color Throw down.  I love these two blogs because I can be inspired with both color and a sketch.  The two retiring stamp sets I used were Vintage Vogue and Messages for Mom.  I really like both of these sets and have used them plenty.  The Messages for Mom has so many great sentiments, it will stay in my collection!

Thanks for checking my blog, if you have any questions, drop me a line!

ENJOY!

To get the shading effect on the flower, I used both Certainly Celery and Always Artichoke Stampin Write Markers to color the Stamp before I stamped.

NEED FOR SPEED BIRHTDAY PART 2

Today's card uses the same stamp set Need for Speed, that I used in the previous post.  This time I used the jet image.  I bought the Well Worn DSP, because I thought it would make great masculine cards.  I just haven't had the inspiration to pull it out until now.  Thanks to Angela McKay and her awesome card on her blog www.northshorestamper.com, I pulled it out and got to work.  I used the same sketch she used, but changed the stamp image.  What do you think?  Enjoy!

Stamp sets:  Need for Speed, Best Dad Ever
DSP: Well Worn
Big Shot with Circles #2, Circle Scallop #2 dies and Houndstooth Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
