VALENTINE CUPCAKES

These taste as good as they look.  I found these cute cupcakes and recipe here and the idea for how to package them here.  I love how they turned out.  My daughters will be delivering these to a few special staff members at their school today!

You will see in this picture, the cupcake has powdered sugar sprinkled on it, but the sugar soaked into the cupcake???  So Plan B...I added sprinkles, white, red and pink.  I liked the look of the powdered sugar, but I need to investigate what needs to be done to keep it from disappearing into the cupcake.

Do you see the spoon?  This way they can just eat the cupcake without a mess!  Love this idea!  The tag came together with just a couple of stamps and punches.  Happy Valentine's Day!!!

DESIGNER CUTS VALENTINE CARDS

When I saw this card set in the Occasions Mini, I instantly thought quick, easy card.  I made a card very similar to the example in the catalog, but changed the colors and added some ribbon.  I just love the details on this cut image...a classy elegance.  This card and envelope set includes two card designs, 8 total and envelopes for $9.95.  What a great deal!  ENJOY!

ENCHANTED PAPER HEARTS

Looking for another quick Valentine's day card?  Here is one I created, but I can't take the credit for the design, that I CASED from Connie Babbert.

I started with Calypso Coral card stock. After I ran a piece of whisper white card stock through my big shot with the perfect polka dots embossing folder, I adhered it to my card base.  Then I grabbed my Enchanted Paper pack and the full heart, heart to heart punch and punched out all these cute little hearts.    I arranged the hearts, some I adhered directly to the paper and some I popped up with dimensionals.  I finished the card off with a couple of little flowers punched with the itty bitty shapes punch pack, added a few pearls, a little ribbon and a stamped sentiment.

Do you love this paper, you can earn it free during Sale-a-bration when you purchase $50 worth of merchandise.  The ribbon and this stamp set can also be earned through our Sale-a-bration promotion.  ENJOY!

SWEETHEART COOKIES

Over the next few days, I have some Valentine cards and projects to show you.  Maybe they will inspire you to stamp and create with me.

Today, I have a teacher gift.  There is actually no stamping on it, but I did use My Digital Studio to design the little tags and then punched them out.  I love how, by using My Digital Studio, I can create using the Stampin Up colors.

I love giving gifts to my girls' teachers and staff members at school, but sometimes that means staying up late the night before to prepare everything and that kind of stress I can do without!  So, as I was indulging my new Pinterest addiction, I came across these cute cookie jar mixes.  You can find the recipe and a similar jar here.  I changed the M&M's and called them Sweetheart Cookies, but the concept is pretty much the same.  What is great about this gift is that I made them last week, so now I don't have to worry about staying up late throwing something together.  Hopefully, they will like them.  They can make them now, save them for later or even re-gift them if they choose...I really have no issues with re-gifting :)  ENJOY!

HEAT EMBOSSED FRIEND VALENTINE

I started this card with a sketch I found this week at The Paper Players.  I love the sketch Anne Marie created for the challenge and here is my interpretation.

I heat embossed the image using VersaMark ink and black embossing powder.  I always feel like a magician when I use the heat gun.  It feels like magic watching that image turn from plain to shiny in an instant.  This card is the last of my Valentine's day cards that I needed to complete. Now, I just need to get them in the mail on time.  I have a few more samples to show you over the next few days.  I also worked a little on teachers' gifts today, I will post them when I am complete...I think they are going to turn out really cute!
